Quality of life
We affirm the value of life, emphasizing quality, not length of remaining days. During a terminal illness, we recognize the dignity of each person and seek to meet their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs allowing the individual to live as fully and comfortably as possible.

The patient/family right to make informed choices
We know that facing the reality of the end of one's life is difficult. We help those impacted by a terminal illness make the most of precious moments by providing them with the information necessary to make choices regarding their disease process/treatment and care options.

Skilled professional care provided by dedicated compassionate staff and trained volunteers
Family Hospice provides support to our community through a caring, skilled and highly educated team of professionals. Along with trained volunteers, our staff has a deep commitment to provide experienced care addressing the physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual pain of the patient facing a terminal illness.

As a non-profit organization our motivation is to provide the community with an alternative choice
We at Family Hospice believe this community recognizes the need for a hospice that is community based and independent, making it the choice to provide quality end of life care regardless of a person's ability to pay, age, diagnosis, disability, race, religion or sex.
